Acknowledgments
(last updated October 2005) When we
started this project, we were fully aware that this project would never get off
the ground without the help of many people. After two years, we can say
that the response to our requests for data and other information has been very
positive, and we have received more help than we ever expected. For this
help, we are very thankful to every single contributor. Help has been in
many forms, with some just forwarding an address and others sending large
amounts of computerized data. However small or large the contribution has
been, they have all helped us in some way. We especially
thank EURING and its associated ringing schemes for providing the bulk of
data. In addition to the ringing data, we often asked for additional
information, and the various ringing schemes have been very forthcoming.
In particular, we thank Rinse Wassenaar for the great amount of work and
patience he put into providing the data. We would also
like to thank the following people in alphabetical order who have helped in one
way or the other: Thomas
